Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 at Atlanta and married to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She is an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation to live in the Atlanta region beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. In the early years, her father was interested in theatre. He was a part of at the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he got cast as a soldier in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. In 1960 the family moved in Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday early morning television program specifically for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. They also were paid. Later that year they founded the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also named Julie) in this time.
