She was married to Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. She had two children, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in the late 1940s when she was signed by MGM. She had been discovered by Norma Shearer. Leigh was a star in a variety of popular films during the next decade, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from the year 1960) and Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
