April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, started taking lessons on piano and guitar at seven years old. The passion for writing songs was ignited. April's very first song was called Different, which she wrote at the age of 12. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her time to creating and playing with songs. She started writing songs with her dad in NY and LA shortly after. April also included additional topics in her song, Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt with issues such as peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal thinking. Lockhart has her own following and works as a lifestyle blogger with the renowned Ilia clean beauty brand. She was not born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's the person she is. But that's far from the full story. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not cover up her disability, but it does not focus solely on the issue. What message is it trying to convey? This is the message that we all share multiple identities and are far more complicated than we believe that we're. Lockhart said via video that she does not want to be defined by her disability. She doesn't want to become an advocate for disabled people who only speaks about it. There are many aspects of Lockhart. It doesn't affect my daily life. Everything is normal and I've learned how to adjust. In addition, I see it to be a vital component of my life. Lockhart is a true source of motivation for self-acceptance generally, is on a long journey to achieve it. She still admits having gone through phases in her life regarding her appearance, feeling insecure at times to wear clothes that showed her arms. She now wears any outfit she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook with pride. It's a journey is the key thing I'm not sure if you ever arrive she says about self-love. This is, however, common for anyone that is prone to doubts. It is important to have people that know and understand your situation. They will be the ones asking your: What are you fret about?
