Jenna Fischer's best-known role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she won the Emmy award for the Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won the award for two SAG Awards.
She was born and raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna observed as her mom Anne was in the church stage. She was awed by performance and theater was instilled when she was a young girl.
Theater actress with training, Fischer returned to her roots after wrapping The Office. The Off-Broadway production of Reasons to be Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's new show Meteor Shower. It was a comedy that was absurd, starring Greg Germann, Josh Stamberg and ran for record-breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer began the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf, in October of the year 2019. The podcast soon gained popularity. Each week it ranked within the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloads in its beginning two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in the month of January in 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life A Survival Guide that outlines her path to Hollywood as an actor in the field and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who were There, which is a story of the greatest friendship they had and their time watching The Office.
