Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she raises her adoptive multiracial children. She is the "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in an interview recently that she was told that when it came to skin tone, it wasn't a factor for her how she looked like however, after speaking with her older sister who was adopted to South Korea, she realized how different society treated both of them. Meg was asked if the way she was treated differed when they were out together with their parents or in the case of going out on their own. Meg responded "Oh, yes, every time!" Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I resulted in me feeling." She confessed that she was angry and felt the need to use this anger to help her daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son who is married to her 13 year old wife, Josh Kelley. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, followed by Adalaide whom was eight years old older and was Black in 2012.
